Blog | Octo Partners with Translation Experts For Exporting Service

8th September 2017

Project Octo has partnered with Whaley Bridge translation firm Peak Translations in order to provide a world class export consulting service.

Our organisation has made exporting a key part of its offering to businesses, giving advice on strategy for entering foreign markets, as well as technical support.

Adding a translation service into the mix means we can offer a high quality, integrated service, producing ecommerce sites which reflect the language and culture of the territories we are targeting.

“We’re delighted to be able to bring in Helen (Provart), and her colleagues, because they bring a wealth of knowledge with them”, explains Adam Pritchard, director of Project Octo.

“Creating a quality online experience in another language requires great attention to detail, and a rich understanding of the subtle cultural differences. If you get it wrong, it can impact sales and ruin your client’s reputation, so it’s vital we have got the expertise to ensure a wonderful service”.

Meanwhile, Peak Translations director Helen Provart, a qualified linguist whose in-house Project Management team manages a network of specialist translators, is equally pleased to be able to bring a consistent stream of work in for her colleagues.

“We were happy to accept the opportunity to partner with Project Octo because it closely matches our own business objectives”, says Helen. “The chance to work with major retailers and businesses on stimulating, rewarding work was one that we couldn’t turn down”.

This strategic collaboration comes at a crucial time for companies in the UK, in view of the increasing importance of exporting, as a final Brexit deal grows ever closer.

The government has made increases in exporting a major part of its growth strategy for the economy, with a series of initiatives including Exporting Is Great, promoted by the DIT.
